By Harrison Fuller…

Come along to the opera, make a date for ballet!

This week I have been a regular culture vulture! Not only have two operas gone on sale (Carmen and Madam Butterfly); I have also booked in three ballets – more on those titles shortly!

For the Opera, Heritage Opera will be with us in July performing Carmen on the 12th, Madam Butterfly on the 13th and a final performance of Carmen on the 14th.

Also on sale this week is the return of the popular Lithuanian stand up comedy. Baltic Productions are returning on 6th May with another top line up.

Two more musicals have been added to the calendar and, as ever, I am not yet at liberty to tell you what they are. One is for the autumn and one for spring 2019. As soon as they are confirmed, I will let you know and you can be one of the first to rush to buy tickets!

This week I have also been working with New College Stamford to put together an apprenticeship position (two in fact). We will shortly be advertising for two people to come and work here at Broadway Towers, working on Box Office, marketing, programming, promotion and ensuring the Theatre Manager has a constant supply of pinot!

The advertisements will go live in the next few weeks. I will also be attending a couple of careers fairs at the local colleges to promote our venue and the vacancies. If you happen to be around do come along and say hello!

Until next time…
