What's on in The Main Auditorium, The Broadway Suite and Walter's Bar and Eatery.

In 2018 we continue The Broadway's 80-year legacy of being at the heart of Peterborough and its surrounding region. From our Main Auditorium, we will create a fascinating space for live performance and engagement. We now have a powerhouse of fantastic events lined up for 2019 too!

With numerous events taking place often on the same day, we're also offering shows in Walter's Bar and Eatery and The Broadway Suite. If you're interested in hosting your own event then simple click on 'Corporate, Private and Wedding Hire'

    Tiddler

    "Under the sea, out on the farm and into the jungle, these terrific tales are woven together with live music, puppetry and a whole host of colourful characters from Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler’s best-loved titles: Tiddler, Monkey Puzzle, The Smartest Giant in Town and A Squash and a Squeeze. Funky moves, toe-tapping tunes and giggles are guaranteed!"

    Groove Cartell and Guests play live in The Broadway Suite at The Broadway.

    Funk and Soul evening, with live bands and DJ's. We'll even polish the dance floor!

    Doors open 8pm. Free Entry. DJ's from 8pm and throughout the evening. Guest artists (TBC) 8.30pm, Groove Cartell 10pm.

    Fair price bar. Spirits £4.50 or double up for just £1.00. Beers & ciders £3.50.

    Eight piece Groove Cartell need little introduction, having played just about all the major events in Peterborough and many top flight shows across the UK. Guaranteed to get you up on your feet and strutting your funky stuff, Grove Cartell perform at The Broadway for the first of hopefully many appearances since the venue was saved from development in 2017.

    Leading trumpeter and band leader Matt Roberts returns to the Club with an all-star sextet paying tribute to the great be-bop trumpeter and composer Kenny Dorham.

    Liliana Chachian (vocals), Steve Rubie (alto saxophone/ flute), Neil Angilley (piano), Dill Katz (bass), Carlos Fuentes (percussion} Nic France (drums).

    SAMARA is a six piece Brazilian/Latin/Jazz group led by Steve Rubie who has run the famous 606 Jazz Club in Chelsea for an amazing 40 years. The pianist, Neil Angilley, works with Vanessa Mae, Shirley Bassey and 'Down to the Bone' and the drummer Nic France has worked with just about everyone, including Dave Gilmore (Pink Floyd) and Bill Withers. Singer Liliana Chachian is considered to be one of the finest Brazilian vocalists in Europe. The music is an infectious blend of Brazilian Samba, Latin jazz and Soul. Come and hear this fabulous band plus there will be plenty of space for dancing at the back of the Broadway Suite.
